About Katrina

I am a convert to the Catholic faith and was confirmed in 2001. I grew up immersed in the New Age culture; but left that religion in my teens. I was led to Christianity in my late 20's and after more than a two year search for a church home, I landed in the Catholic Church, where I have remained ever since.

My conversion from the New Age to Catholicism was not an easy one; nor was it quick. It took well over 2 years to be confirmed and of course, I remain in a constant state of conversion. I enjoy sharing my conversion story with others as well as my great love of the Sacrament of Mercy. I also love speaking about our Eucharistic Lord and the priests of God who make this all possible. Sharing my journey as a spiritual mother entices others to pray for our priests as well.

When I am not praying, working or speaking, I am writing. As you can see from my blog, I love to write and encourage others. When I am not doing these things, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our daughter -when she comes home or we travel to her.

One of the many things I have learned is that being a Catholic Christian is very hard work, but life is infinitely better than before I had a relationship with our Glorious Lord.

I was compelled to write a thank you to the priests in my life for all they have done. The result is a delightful little booklet that has been enjoyed by many. This is one of the things that began my journey to spiritual motherhood.

The Stations of the Cross, Becoming More Christlike is a meditation on the Stations of the Cross. This book was written at the request of a friend for a meditation during mini-retreats we were putting on in our area parishes. My friend, who agreed to edit the book for me, refused to return the copy to me because she was praying it daily and didn't want to give it up.

Both booklets are available upon request for a free will donation.

From my personal experiences with difficult health issues, I speak to groups about healing through faith and laughter. I share my faith and humor to keep myself healthy and have helped others to feel better through their health difficulties.

I am married and have an adult daughter who is the delight of my life. Our shared faith is the foundation of our home.
